Nick and Alex of Zero Foods, are the inventors of the Zero toastie range.
Boasting just 4 ingredients (rice, water, salt and citrus extract), these red and back rice products are a healthy and nutritious substitute to wheat breads, bases and crackers.
The Zero range was originally designed to target fitness-focused people however has become a huge hit among the gluten-free and vegan communities.
Given our extensive experience in shelf-ready food packaging, Tangent was invited to create the packaging across their entire range.
“We had to consider how to best make the bases look appealing within the box whilst also educating consumers on what Zero products are all about. We know from experience that consumers like to “see” what’s inside any food pack, so a window in the box was a must. This circular cutout shape also follows the Zero branding theme”.
The chosen colour theme was black with brighter colours. Red and purple helped to lift the natural state of the raw product.
